    Howard County A&M Club Scholarships
    Twenty-seven permanently endowed scholarships available every year for kids in Howard County.

    Wes-Tex Telephone Cooperative Scholarship
    Can be found online at www.pbaf.org/scholarships
    The application should be filled out, printed, and brought to the counselor's office.  A student from Forsan will be awarded this scholarship.

    Charles, Lela and Mary Slough Foundation Scholarship
    Can be found at www.midland.edu/slough.
    The application is filled out online only and due April 1.
    This is a $5000 per year scholarship that stays with your student until they graduate from college
    (or have 136 semester hours, whichever comes first) as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements. Notifications of awards will be mailed in August.

    Permian Basin Underground Water conservation District Scholarship
    Can be found online, or a copy is available in my office. This scholarship does require an essay.
    (The packet provides sources to find information for the essay.)
    The application and essay should be completed and returned to the counselor's office by April 12.
    A student from Forsan will be awarded this scholarship.

    Staked Plains Lodge #598 Scholarship
    There is a short scholarship application in my office for this scholarship.
    (It literally will take about 10 minutes to fill out.)
    Applications are due back to my office by April 15.

    Howard County bar Association Scholarship
    These applications are in the counselor's office and should be competed and mailed to the Howard County Bar Association by April 18.
